The secret to running a successful campaign online

The secret to running a successful campaign online is a combination of Strategy, Measuring and most important Persistence. If you failed at first try again.

Strategy

One of the most important things is to set your strategy at first. Understand and define the objectives of the campaign. What is it that you are trying to achieve and how you want to achieve it.

Create a user flow – from first engagement and all the way to the finish line. This will guide you and help understand what elements and assets you need to engage with the audience in each stage. These elements and assets could be Ads, Landing pages, Video content, email sequences, bots, etc…

Plan A, B and C executions. While there are known tactics, and online marketing funnel ‘blueprints’, things may no go your way. Always be open to adapt and change your plan as you go.

Measure, test and optimize

Speaking of being open and adapt to change. There is nothing more powerful than measuring your campaign. Tracking your campaign throughout each and every step in your flow or funnel will be the what makes it or breaks it. You must track all activity. To do so you need to set tracking events.

By setting these events in place we learn how the audience is behaving and engaging with your campaign. By having this data we can test and optimize our strategy and creative until it clicks and works to our advantage.

Our advantage is reaching your campaign goals at the lost cost and best ROI (return on investment).

Persistence

If you, a business owner think that you can get results within a month, don’t bother wasting your money. There is a %95 chance that you won’t see a return on your investment, and you will resent and blame the marketer who serviced you.

It takes time, skill and persistence. In most cases, it can take 2-3 months for a campaign to get into gear and reach its full potential. This is especially important to be aware of if you have never run a campaign before.

Persistence is key to any online campaign, not so different from any other sales activity.
